Mini-Fins
MINI-FINS PROGRAM:
If your child is not ready for continuous lap swimming, you may be eligible for the Fox Mill Woods Developmental program. A Mini-Fin swimmer can move to regular swim team or participate in a developmental meet at the direction of the coaches.
There is no mini-fin evaluation before the first practice. If you are uncertain about if your child should participate in swim team or the Mini-Fins program, please bring them to the first after school 8 & under practice for the coaches to evaluate.
Who coaches the Mini-Fins?
The FMW Coaches and Volunteers who are swimmers on the team will be coaching the Mini-Fins. We want to prepare each swimmer to not only safely get across the pool, but also to learn all four of the competitive strokes.
